Our Programs Include:

Three morning programs in the Spring, Summer, and Fall featuring speakers and a moderated panel on topics selected by the Executive Board that explore new developments in IT leadership, management, and technology.

The Executive Leadership Awards (ELA) Dinner recognizing outstanding senior executives in the Enterprise, Startup and Public Sector categories chosen by a committee of member representatives for their leadership in leveraging IT for organizational advantage. View a list of past ELA honorees.

The Young Tech Professionals (YTP) student led committee organizes bootcamps to help students further develop their business and technical skills. Topics include: business analysis, project management, ideation/MVP, iterative development concepts, communication, presentation and more.

There are also two events for practitioner members of the IS Associates: (1) All practitioner members are invited to the annual one-day Southern California CIO Executive Summit, presented by Evanta, and in collaboration with the IS Associates, and (2) the CIO Exchange Dinner, hosted by the IS Associates, held three times a year, where we invite a UCLA Faculty subject matter expert to discuss a strategic topic chosen by the Executive Board.

In addition, there are a variety of UCLA activities in which the IS Associates members can participate as mentors, sponsors or judges. These include student organized hackathons such as Datafest and ACM Hack on The Hill; technology showcases such as TechFair organized by Residential Life and Computer Science Fair organized by UCLA ACM.
