Program Description:

Companies are placing digital as a top agenda item for 2017.  CEOs are expecting CIOs and their IT Leaders to navigate the organization through the complex digital journey.  Companies are embracing technology in their products besides running their operations.  We need a different leadership mentality, and a shift from a service provider to an integral part of the business.  The opportunity for the IT team is ‘now’ because we are uniquely positioned to help our companies.

This new and rapidly changing world poses a talent and leadership challenge.  Most IT Leaders need the guidance to navigate the new world, and upgrade their team talent and competencies.  Leading research agencies such as CEB have already started designing career paths for driving talent change and building required leadership skills within the enterprise.

Additionally, IT Leaders need to brand themselves differently and network better with business leaders to lead the change.  This is a big challenge as most IT leaders live in a comfort zone of servicing our business customers operations, or assisting in programs championed by the business.  We need to not only influence but also champion the continuous business evolutions enabled by technology waves.  At the same time, we need to transform the skill sets and talents within the organization.

Our esteemed leaders from Fortune 500 companies, analysts, and coaches will guide us on building successful IT Leaders in the digital world.  IT Leaders will also understand how to manage their careers and develop their team into future IT leaders.
